Sean P. Clifford is the Managing Partner of Ashling Capital where he is responsible for overseeing the financial, investment and operating activities for the firm globally. Sean has over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry focused on real estate, credit and securitized assets. Sean has raised in excess of $6 billion of capital commitments from investors across the globe for opportunistic investments across real estate equity, debt and credit.

Prior to joining Ashling Capital, Sean held several leadership positions including Partner at Pretium Partners which is a real estate focused investment firm and the largest owner & operator of single family rental homes in the United States, Managing Director at GoldenTree Asset Management and Managing Director and Partner at ZAIS Group. Prior to ZAIS, Sean was a Founding Partner and Head of Taxable Fixed Income at Silvercrest Asset Management (spinout of DLJ Asset Management).

Sean is a Co-Founder, Founding Board Chair and Trustee of Trinity Hall, an independent all-girls high school in NJ. Sean received his BA from Loyola University, MBA in Finance from Fordham University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
